DONATIONS |
Food, clothing, new and used books, and household items are the life blood of our programs. Catholic Outreach is also raising funds to build 23 apartments to house persons who are chronically homeless and suffer mental or physical impairments. We need $400,000 more to be able to complete the project. |
GIVE A GIFT OF MONEY or STOCK -- each of the programs depends upon monetary donations to operate efficiently and effectively. Some people make monthly donations, others respond to the newsletter and Christmas and Annual Fund appeals. You can designate which program you would like to support or you can indicate "where most needed". Donations are accepted and receipted throughout the year. |
GIFTS "In honor of" or "In Memory of" -- consider a gift to Catholic Outreach in the name of another, on the occasion of a birthday or other special event or as a memorial gift. Cards are sent from Catholic Outreach to the person you designate to receive notification of the gift. |
Consider a BEQUEST: have you included Catholic Outreach in your will? -- an excellent way to assure that the work of Catholic Outreach continues. Designate an amount, a percentage or the residual. |
List Catholic Outreach as a BENEFFICIARY of a life insurance policy. |

Enterprise Zone Certificate: If you pay state income taxes, ask for an Enterprise Zone Certificate for any donation of $50 or more. This certificate gives you state tax credit for 25% of your gift. So if your gift is $1,000, you can subtract $250 from your state income tax. This credit is in addition to your federal tax credit. |
