  • With the completion of Phase II, St. Martin Place now provides permanent supportive housing to 39 formerly-homeless individuals, including veterans. Clergy members and community partners celebrated the dedication of Phase II on April 23rd.
  • Enterprise Zone Certificates:Beginning in 2015, Catholic Outreach will be asking you to provide additional information if you wish to receive an Enterprise Zone (EZ) Certificate. The State will no longer issue EZ Certificates without the last four digits of the donor's Social Security number or State Tax ID number.

  • The 19th Annual Empty Bowls Event - Was a great success again this year. 700 people showed their support. A hearty thank you to area potters, restaurants, and businesses that made this fundraiser possible through their donations of bowls, soup, food, sponsorships and media coverage. All proceeds benefit the Grand Valley Catholic Outreach Soup Kitchen.

  • We held our annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner on April 23rd. We are truly grateful for our dedicated volunteers. Without them, we would not be able to maintain the smooth operation of our Day Center, Soup Kitchen, Financial Aid Department, Clothing Bank, or Food Pantry.

  • Grand Valley Catholic Outreach staff and board members joined residents of St. Benedict Place on June 24th for its annual 'No Fences' Garden Blessing, as well as St. Benedict's 7th anniversary. The garden plot allows St. Benedict's residents to grow produce as they work towards rebuilding their lives. Father Edmundo Valera of St. Joseph Catholic Church conducted the blessing.
