Catholic Outreach supports three programs that provide housing to individuals or families who are homeless.
T-House Supportive Housing
The T-House shelters up to two families, each living in their own small yet comfortable apartment, for up to four months. Residents pay $100 per week and receive 50% of that back when they move out if they have left the home clean and have paid rent on time. An interview is required to gain entrance into this program, and there is typically a wait list.
Transitional Supportive Housing
Transitional Supportive Housing offers individuals and families the opportunity to end homelessness through cooperative living, counseling, and training. Residents, working with a case manager, must have gainful employment or enter a work skills program through the Workforce Center. Residents pay no more than 30% of income during their 12 to 24 month stay after which they are in a position to provide for their own permanent housing. An interview is required to gain entrance into this program.
Permanent Supportive Housing
Permanent Supportive Housing provides homes to those with mental or physical impairments who have been chronically homeless and are free from drug abuse. Acceptance to this program is through a review committee.
